I’m not gonna stay to see what you have to say.
Sorry — it’s just my policy.
I like to be in control of the sound.
Often my sound is turned off — in that case, I won’t run away. But if my sound is on and you take control of it with some music or sounds that you like and want to share, I’m not going to try to find the control on your page to turn it off. I’m leavin’!

I've run into this myself and I don't like it. I do like music but I like the music I like and not necessarily what everyone else likes. I also don't like to be surprised by loud noise or music when I visit a site. The quickest way to shut off that awful sound is to look for that always-ready little red "X" in the upper right of my screen and that is the one I use. However, if you mention some music clip on your site as I'm reading and give me the option to listen or not, I may or may not take you up on it, but I won't necessarily stop reading your site as I would in the first instance.
I hate music that automatically plays. That is one of the worst mistakes bloggers can make.
