Hi Mike – that’s amazing … was it that colour, and that shiny – or have you slightly altered it? I can definitely see it’s a tree and a petrified one at that, or one in a coat of many colours!

That’s the actual colors and texture. The wood cells had been replaced with minerals so that it was crystallized and this is what was left, fractured smoothly as though intentionally cut.
