Hi Mike – what an amazing shot .. much better than the one in Wiki … brilliant little bird. I see it hides its cache .. and can cache 98,000 seeds in a season – that’s a lot of trees to lose to one little bird!!! Or those thieving squirrels who steal from those who are prepared! Cheers Hilary

They are interesting birds… and, out west, in the Rockies, are often seen where people congregate — campgrounds, picnic areas, scenic overlooks, etc.
