….more people linking to my blog.
I don’t think there’s any.
If there were – and I knew about it – I would sure stop by their blog or comment page to tell them thanks.
This post actually came about after reading Are You an Ungrateful Link Getter? on Darren Rowse’s Problogger which in turn led me to the original post by the same name at 45n5.
Since I’ve not started getting many (any) links on this relatively new (obscure) blog, I can’t say that I’m an ungrateful link getter.
I’m also not ungrateful about not getting any links. They will (may) come with time and perseverance.
What I am grateful for is the interesting topics that I’ve read on ProBlooger and the interesting blogs that I’ve found there. I’ve added 45n5 to my “Blogs of Interest” here and look forward to reading and learning from it on occasion.
My goal here is not create a significant income stream, though that would be OK. I would like to earn a bit to augment my modest pension and more modest investments so that I don’t have to go back to work a few years down the road… and I want to be able to enjoy myself doing it. So I’ll read and learn from these guys and pick and choose what I implement.
And, if anyone stops here, thanks for stopping by!

It can be tough trying to find your voice. I struggled with that initially instead of trying to be like everyone else I finally realized it was ok to be myself.
I then thought about how I could make what I talk about appealing to others. I’ve been blogging for almost three years, but I didn’t start taking my blog seriously until May of this year.
My readers have doubled every single month since that time. I make a point to go out and meet new bloggers.
I regularly comment on other blogs and try to add to the discussion if possible.
You’re off to a good start you’re checking out bloggers that you admire. I did the same thing I also thought about how I could use some of the tips that they were using and give it “my voice.”
I noticed your photography websites. If you’re not doing so already why not participate in a few photography blog rolls? It’s a great way to network, and drive traffic to your website.
