Hi Mike – Thank goodness it’s ended … but so sad, so unnecessary. It’s opened a whole new chapter … and I’m learning from the commentary by the journalists, politicians, philosophers, thinkers etc: lots more to unfold in the coming days …
I feel for the families of those who died, and those who are seriously injured, also those who endured so much by being involved in some way. Hilary

I agree. I’ve learned a lot, too, and much from a deeply devout Muslim who is a long time friend, not a close friend, but still a friend.
Their warped beliefs and anger are shared by too many, including many over here. The two attacks in Canada were but the most recent. There was the 2009 Fort Hood, Texas shooting by Major Nidal Malik Hasan with 13 dead and 29 wounded. Also in 2009, just an hour away from here, Abdulhakim Mujahid Muhammad shot and killed one military recruiter and seriously wounded another at a Little Rock, Arkansas Army/Navy Career Center in an act of terrorism. And, of course, there was the shocking events of the Boston Marathon bombing and the search for the Tsarnaev brothers in 2013.
