It certainly shows the whole of the tree – or at least the trunk …and the bleak landscape … all of 4 years ago … cheers Hilary

Hi Hilary — It is pretty bleak. We actually stopped at this park’s visitor center yesterday for a rest and stretch break. The visitor center is just off the interstate highway. Most of the petrified trees are several miles to the south.
