Virginia Beach is beautiful. I’ve only been there once but would like to go again. I need to go look at your other pictures.

How lovely!! I have not yet been to Virginia. One day, I’m sure! Charleston especially seems intriguing, the old buildings are so gorgeous, I’ve seen in pix.

teeni – We’ve been to that area lots of times but it was the first time we actually went to the Virginia Beach beach. My mom and stepdad have lived in Norfolk for most of the last 35 years, except when they moved back to Nebraska after he retired from the Navy and once when he was stationed in Florida.

Jannie – We’ve usually only been there for business or visiting family. This time we spent a bit longer for touristy stuff.

I think you might have been thinking of Charleston, South Carolina or, perhaps, Charleston, West Virginia.

What a lovely shot Mike. I like the angle you took this from.
