Sharing photos, videos, vintage images I've discovered, and -- occasionally -- commentary and thoughts from retired life and travels.

Two very different places

July 10, 2010

Travel Journal

We visited a couple of very different places today.  The first, Fort Fetterman State Historic Site, is situated on a windy plateau above the valleys of LaPrele Creek and the north Platte River.  The second, Ayrs Natural Bridge, is in a mountain canyon.

Yet, they are only a relatively few miles apart.

I will post more on both of these at a later point, with photographs that show more of each place.

We plan to move on down the road aways tomorrow.  I don’t know if we will have internet service.

(Each travel journal post is published on Exit78 and Haw Creek Out ‘n About .)
