Grannymar – You’re welcome.
Weather extremes can be interesting — and frightening. So far as complaining about rain, we do, too. Right now, the complaint is about the lack of it!
Patricia – Glad you found your way here again.
With my interest in climate change, I have a news alert on Google set for volcano eruptions. It generally results in a dozen or so news stories every day that have nothing to do with current eruption, but when there is a new one, I find out about it pretty quick. I think we’re at a balancing point headed into a decades long cooling, but one large volcanic event could send us into the brink faster and deeper.
I’m still working on material from the trip. I already have posts scheduled through the 14th and I still have a lot of material left. The good thing about this is that I know now that I won’t be trying to post near real-time next trip. I’ll start from the beginning and work my way through. I’ll end up finishing way after the trip is over, but the posts will be more sequential that this trip — which I’ll be posting about way after the trip was over.

In Ireland we complain about the rain, but we really have no idea about extremes of weather. Thanks for the video.
