I am ready for this to be a bell curve, or maybe just run it off the cliff right along with the term “shovel ready”. Since I watch a good bit of political news, I get my fill of both.
How about a petition to ban the term “the truth of the matter is” ??

Hi Mike .. some words and phrases do so irritate .. and I agree with RJ – “the truth of the matter is” … and I can’t think of others .. perhaps a good thing –

Totally agree lets bring language back into speech, articles and life in general … cheers Hilary
