There was some sort of festival in progress, including vintage cars, the day that we visited Old Colorado City, along with dark skies and a storm brewing up over by Pikes Peak.

Man, that’s a wild photo. If I didn’t know better I would have thought you Photoshopped the sky.

Wait a minute. Did you Photoshop the sky?

Nope, all I did was adjust the saturation and contrast, just like a film photographer would do in a darkroom.

Thunderstorms over the Colorado Rockies are common on summer afternoons.

I love vintage cars, although I have to say I once rode in one and they are not very comfortable.

I’ll have to admit that the only time I’ve ridden in vintage cars was before they were really vintage…., like riding in late 50s cars in the early 70s. They didn’t have the creature comforts we take for granted today.
