10, 450 feet or so above sea level, temperature in the low 50s (°F), wind 15 to 20 mph, gusting to 40.
It was an easy ride up and down – $20 per person round trip.

The capacity limit on the tram is 100 people. I would not want to be riding when it’s that packed.

After wandering around on top of the mountain for a while, we were ready for something warm to drink in Corbett’s Cabin.

It’s fun traveling vicariously with you two. No effort, no exertion, no $20! Great views!
Thanks, Dot. Glad to have you “along.”
That looks cool Mike. I had no idea you could fit as many as 100 people in one of those cable cars. I love them but Stuart isn’t so keen. He’s terrified of heights. We went on the London Eye and he had his eyes closed most of the time.
Cath – Fortunately, we both like going up on mountains. The top photo is very similar to a 35mm film shot that I had enlarged from a photo we we went up on the same mountain with the kids in 1987.
100 people would be really packed, but then it is a whole lot larger than an elevator and think of how many people you can sque-e-e-e-eze on one of those.
That looks so fun Mike. Thank you for sharing your adventures with us.
