In September, we took a trip north to visit our youngest daughter, son-in-law and grandkids up in Wisconsin. While there, we took the opportunity to visit one of our favorite events, the weekly Dane County Farmers Market, which, during the warm months, is held along the streets that go around the state capitol building in Madison. Hi Mike .. great to see imperfect fruit and veg for sale – ie straight and true from the soil, not perfected or messed around to get perfection … love the trailers of capiscums … looks an amazing place to be able to attend and definitely live nearby …
Seeing the family is an even better excuse … cheers Hilary

Sorry for not getting back to any of your comments earlier. I’ve been very busy at work this week… extra long hours, which I knew was coming and part of the reason I’m pre-publishing my material. The farmers market at Madison could almost be called a weekly festival. It takes an hour to make it all the way around the capitol grounds looking at everything and taking pictures. There are often street musicians and artists. We’ve been to it 3 times now and I’m sure we’ll go again.
