Mike — That’s a cool picture. I love the steam coming off the lake and the vista’s beyond. WOW.

BTW Thanks for the visit to my site and the post, “Picture Story: Photo Playing.” I need to clarify something because you were very close. The place you live in isn’t the object itself, but has the same name:~) Everyone got confused with this clue! Sorry:~(

Sara – Thanks. We hope to visit there again, this summer.

I used a bit of photo technology to come so close. I use Paintshop Pro and it has a spinner feature, too — so I took your picture and “unspun” it. I didn’t know what other manipulations you had done, so all I got was an outline of something — which I applied your other clues to.

Hi Mike .. one day I’ll get to Yellowstone .. it’s always seemed such a wonderful area to visit. Would love to see it. Hey — and you cheated with Sara’s puzzle??!! Good for you …

Just wondered if you knew where your surname came from? Unintentionally Jannie sent me on the route to find out .. and it’s in the Turning Oxen post on my blog a few posts back ..

See you around .. go well – Hilary

Hilary – Yellowstone is one of our favorite places. I first visited it when I was 11 with my grandparents and sister in 1961. The next time I was there was in 1973, with a wife and new baby, when I was stationed in Idaho for a school. In 77, we were back in Idaho for 3 1/2 years while I was instructor. I have no idea how many times we visited Yellowstone and the Tetons then and we’ve been back several times since we left. In fact, we’ll probably make it to Yellowstone this summer — among other places — if our plans work out.

I’ve played with the swirl tool before and it just made sense to try to untwirl Sara’s puzzle, even if it’s a different program.

Sure, I’ve known what a goad is for as long as I can remember. The name is English and my earliest ancestor that I’ve been able to find was in Virginia in the mid 1600s.

Thanks for commenting!
