I’ve been posting material to my Chronicles of the American Civil War blog for well over a year now and, since the first of 2005, have been posting newspaper articles and diary entries from a corresponding day in a year of the civil war. Currently, there are over 5000 different articles and diary entries that have been posted to the blog.
For instance, later today, I will be publishing articles from February 25, 1862. During 2005, I published articles from the corresponding day in 1861. This year, I’m doing 1862; next year I will be doing 1863; and so on.
