Hi Mike – I’ve only ever seen a Tiger at Longleat, Lord Bath’s home and estate, wandering around … white tigers are special … look so cuddly – but are definitely not critters … cheers Hilary

We’ve been to a number of zoos over the years and it seems that almost every one of them has had tigers. The most recent was Houston, Texas in November, and, yes, there were tigers.
I use the blog category “critter” anytime there is some kind of animal in the post and/or associate photo(s). Interestingly — I just looked this up — its etymology date back two centuries:
“First attested 1815, from a dialectal pronunciation of ‘creature.'”
