Hi Mike - that definitely looks like a more fun market. That painting on the pavement is amazing.

Hi Mike - What a colorful assortment of photos. I especially like the sidewalk art and the gourds. You captured them well.

Wow. I love that Farmer’s Market. The ones around here are so small and pitiful because the weather doesn’t allow for a long season. So yeah, I’m jealous.

Hey Mike! I caught that chalk-art photo above and it reminded me of the annual chalk art festival that we have out here in Pasadena, CA. It’s really somethin’!!! What’s so great about it is how it attracts people from all over in one place, to share in admiring the various talents of all the participants. It really is something amazing!

@ Cath - It was fun and the painting is amazing — and so temporary, except for being captured in photos. Unfortunately, we only made it halfway around, when we got a phone call from our daughter asking if we wanted to take care of our granddaughter for a while. Silly question when we see them so seldom!
@ XUP - Thanks!
@Evelyn Lim - Thanks. I plan on posting images here fairly often and I’m also posting images daily on one of my other blogs, Haw Creek Out ‘n About. I’ve got over 20 days worth of photos preposted for the next several weeks there and they are not the same photos that I am posting here. I tried that for a while, but it didn’t seem to be quite how I wanted to do it. I’ve also got another semi-retired blog that I’m going to reactivate and I will be posting images there, as well.
@ Barbara - Thanks.
@ teeni - The good thing about it is that we’ll get to see it every year if we want as long as Jes, Shane, and the kids still live there. We don’t have anything like it here, either, but growing season isn’t to blame. We’re still picking tomatoes.
@Ricardo - Sounds interesting. Maybe one of these days we’ll venture out that way, but probably not in the near future.
