That is a beautiful sunset Mike. We never seem to get anything like that in the UK. Mind you - we never seem to get much sun here, so that’s probably why.

I kind of know what you mean. I was in Scotland a number of times when I was in the US Navy in the mid 1970s and I don’t remember many sunny days. Of course a lot of those days I never went top-side, so it may have been sunny and I didn’t know about it. In the middle of one patrol, we did pull in to the U.K. submarine base at Faslane. I had liberty 2 of the 3 days we were there and I seem to remember those as being sunny — or maybe it’s just a distorted memory resulting from the (warm) beverages I consumed.
