Flash, bang, boom! here we go again!
Filed under Arkansas, give me a break!, weather
All that stuff in the middle of the radar image below is heading straight towards us. It’s about an hour and a half out.
Tornado warnings, flash flood warnings, and severe thunder storm warnings.
The weather service is calling for the really heavy stuff to come in tomorrow during the daylight hours.

Update: April 10th, 6 A.M. — we had heavy rain during the night — bad news for the areas prone to flooding with all the precipitation we’ve had lately.
This radar image shows the front edge of the next round of storms.

Hi Mike. Hope everything is ok there. As much as I hate the weather here, I feel lucky when I see what you have to put up with.

We’re fine. It’s just been a very interesting year so far for weather. We had freeze warnings last night and again tonight — everything is already turning green and there are a lot of blossoms. The season is still early and I think that most of our stuff will be ok. The freeze may extend all the way down to south Arkansas and maybe into Mississippi, where Spring is much further along.
I’m ready for boring weather.
