This is beautiful.
I have a slim digital camera and it can’t take photos like this. It’s convenient, because it’s always in my backpack so I never find myself saying “I just wish I had a camera!”, but the photo quality is quite low. I’m thinking of buying something that would give me more control.

It almost looks as though the seagull is floating over the sand.

Those are the types of walks us humans always envision on the beach but it figures that only the seagulls ever actually get to have them. LOL. Great shot.

Replying to old comments… did I ever tell you about my procrastination?
@Vered - Thanks! Yesterday we took a walk on the University of Wisconsin campus, next to the lake. Great photo opportunities, but I forgot to charge the battery!
@ dcr - Now that you mention it, it does!
@ teeni - actually we did get a chance for a solitary walk on a Lake Michigan beach with a hundred or more sea gulls wheeling overhead (fortunately we didn’t get ‘bombed’)
