My mom and stepdad have lived in Norfolk for most of the last 35 years, except when they moved back to Nebraska after he retired from the Navy and once when he was stationed in Florida. Jannie - We've usually only been there for business or visiting family. This time we spent a bit longer for touristy stuff. I think you might have been thinking of Charleston, South Carolina or, perhaps, Charleston, West Virginia. teeni – We’ve been to that area lots of times but it was the first time we actually went to the Virginia Beach beach.
