We are currently off the grid and off the internet somewhere in the Idaho mountains. We will be preparing blog posts to publish when we have the opportunity to go on line.

Now that’s a gorgeous photo!
Which reminds me, I haven’t taken any early morning shots in a while. I need to start taking them again.
Very pretty, and that line of poles really shows the distance.
Hi, Looks like we crossed paths at least twice. First along the lake west of North Platte and then Douglas, WY. The contact you provided was a great help in locating Giant Bluff in Elk Creek Canyon in the Black Hills of SD. We got a good ‘bird’s eye view from above in a small aircraft out of Spearfish. One certain Deadwood official worked with me in our serach for information concerning the 1880′s Plains life phptographer, John C H Grabill, a possible relative. I now have some leads to work on and will keep you informed. Many thanks, Howard R Grabill
Howard,
Thanks for the feedback. All too often people ask a question and, when you give an answer or help, they never get back to you on how it turned out.
On the way home, we stopped at Custer State Park. We didn’t venture far from there as it was the final days of the Sturgis motorcycle rally and we aren’t into cycles.
