Revealed March 23, 2014:

Don Eggleston got it right when he wrote, “Looks like one of the one reactor powered jet engines.”  Don and I served in M Division together on the USS Casimir Pulaski, SSBN633, blue crew.

    Definitely shades of Mad Max for sure. I’m sitting here pretty much clueless however as to its purpose. If it were from Mad Max I would guess some sort of mini oil refinery but you probably wouldn’t make it that easy. So… I’m going with “automatic file cabinet drawer opener”!
