    I suspect that they will be some kind of grass, just like wheat, rice etc. The feather like structure enables them to fly off and find new places to go to seed and grow. Lovely photograph.

    Ramana – I, too, think it is some kind of grass, but, whatever it is, it's a wild variety.

    I think Commentluv may have been down because I may have been in the process of upgrading some themes when you were commenting — or it could have been something on the commentluv side of things. Seems to be working now.
