Interestingly, I guess they have made a bit of a comeback. New vinyl records are even available on Amazon. Turntables are also sold, including one that covers a bunch of audio bases: AM/FM Radio/CD/Cassette/USB Classic Turntable with iPod Dock.

Yes I do! :) I made the mistake of leaving my favourite album at that time — Supertramp’s Breakfast in America — which I won in a radio contest, on our front porch on a hot summer’s day. You can guess what happened. The record was all rippled by the time Mrs. Mother Nature was through. I wasn’t impressed.

I saw a beautiful collection of these a few weeks ago in a second-hand store. They were in amazing condition.

These (the albums in the picture) were in a Colorado museum last summer.

Hi Mike .. yes I do – still got one or two that I’d like to get converted to whatever the latest trend is … they contain music from Africa – very evocative reminders. I saw someone looking through some albums in a 2nd hand shop I was in – when I was in Scotland last week … I needed an extra bag for the ‘stuff’ I bought!! Books, cards, tea-towels .. useful info, cards to write and prezzies …

Cheers Hialry
