    It looks rather too pristine for that particular President – though I’m sure he’s ultra bright .. just didn’t follow his own maxims …

      We stopped by there again last fall. The trees had grown a lot in 7 years. The library is actually quite an addition to that area of Little Rock, bringing what was once a run down warehouse and shuttered business area into the 21st century. We actually ventured into that area several times back in the 80s — when Clinton was governor. There was a fascinating antique store there and a restaurant called Spaghetti Warehouse, where we ate several times. It was housed in an old train depot. It was part of a planned revival for that part of town that just never came to fruition. That building is the only one still remaining of all that were in that area. It is now part of the library complex, home, I think, to the Clinton Institute for International Studies — or something like that, which is also part of the University of Arkansas system.
