Dot – The nice thing about Thesis is that it can be anything you want it to be far easier than any of the free themes I’ve tried before. It’s also got a good support network, from the designers to dedicated user, and I’ve already done some tweaks that would meant hunting and searching for the right places to make the changes, such as removing the DIYThemes logo and link in the footer.

I’m working on getting back to more posts, but I’m also “working,” so that makes it a little harder. However, I am also doing a better job of answering comments, so far, which is a significant improvement for me.

Being a bloke I never really noticed the change of Theme on your blog. I tend to go for the content rather than look at the wallpaper. Now you have drawn my attention to your blog furnishings though I must say you have a nice taste in interior design.

I’ll be posting new photo material very soon. As I said, I still have material from our September trip — the last day at Mesa Verde, as well as some photos on the way home. Then, there’s the pictures from our Thanksgiving weekend camping trip — which turned out to be the last decent weekend for camping this year, I think, down here. It got cold.

And photo galleries. I’ve got digital images for at least 20 more photo galleries.

Okay with it? I get to do the fun parts of my old job and none of the not-fun parts — except the hours — and people thank me every day for being there!

Really, they do. Coworkers AND students.

Work again? You sound like you’re okay with that as long as it’s not for too long. Someday I’d like to do that too. “sigh”.

Ramana – Thanks. The funding authorization was actually signed today — two weeks before the drop-dead date. It’ll help us keep from dipping into savings for a while, but, more importantly, it will pay for a lot of construction supplies for finishing the addition onto the house.

So far as Mac vs. PC, I don’t think it matters one way or the other. I just have too much invested in software and time on PCs to even think about such a move. Even with Windows 7, I’m running most of the software I had on the old computer. It’s just SO much faster now — with NO delays to speak of.

Jannie, don’t worry — I’ll post plenty more on climate, so there will be more opportunities.

As to this post, yes, I see your theme has changed. Thesis — you have to pay for that, right? I know it’s a very popular one. And comes SEO extra-ptimized?
