That car is so perfect, I thought it was a toy!

He was moving past us when I shot this picture and I was lucky I had the camera on a setting that would stop motion as I panned in the direction he was moving.

I went back and looked at the original of this photo just now to see if I could figure out how many people were in it. There are two guys in the front, no one in the back.

Is it a Ford? I am reminded of the one our next door neighbour had, he died in 1955, so it was before that. Like all cars in Ireland at the time… You could have any colour so long as it was Black!

I am by no means an expert on cars. but I do have other photos of this car at different angles and the Ford emblem is visible on them – so, yes it is a Ford.

Wow, what a lucky shot! Good thing you had the camera all set to catch this one.

Such a beautiful car and in great condition. We had a Model A Ford show on the island a couple of weeks ago. One of them, I was told, still had the original paint on it. It was a real treat to see these cars. Not sure how to know the difference between a Model A and a Model T though. I guess I could Google it :)

The only thing I know about Model A’s and Model T’s are that they are old cars made by Ford (and the apostrophes are there because it didn’t make sense to write “Model As”)

Oh geez… those darn apostrophes :)

Yes, I hear you. “Model As” looks funny. I suppose it could be written as Model “A”s but that looks odd too.
