    How do they keep those hood ornaments on there? There must a huge theft percentage of those things. But then again, I reckon they never leave these babies parked unattended.

    XUP, those babies were almost exclusively sold in Britain and theft those days did not exist there. Particularly of car fittings! You are also right that they were mostly used by chauffeur driven rich cats. They were the only ones who could afford these babies.

    Ramana – No, they don't, but I'm not sure that there would be much of a market for them.

    XUP – hood fixtures are attached from underneath the hood. A lot of cars back then had hood fixtures.
