Wow I just loved reading your list and clicking through on a few…I have had so much company and then emergency surgery for my puppy…it feels just pleasant to be back making rounds today and this was a lovely start.
Chihuly makes me feel a bit guilty as his glass museum is only about 45 minutes away and I have never been to see it – I enjoy the glass works…and seeing them all over town….and love the animals they make designed by children. Oh yes, and the bridge over downtown Tacoma waterways – fabulous. I think I will add this to my bucket list
Hope you summer is going well.
I never heard of Chihuly until we saw one of his pieces at the Clinton Presidential Library. The glass is fantastic.
If I continue the Friday Faire, it may be scaled down or sporadic. I found it a bit time consuming to find worthwhile sites to share.
The glass is fascinating, as someone with a sensitivity to dairy products, I think butter should be banned
As for reflections, I am the opposite to the ladies represented… I see an older person in my mirrors, my mother!
I, too, am sensitive to dairy products and have to watch it. However, yesterday, when we were out and about in the heat, we stopped for ice cream. I had a large portion and, luckily, didn’t have any ill effects. “Mild” allergy to some foods is my problem and, often, if I can take antihistimines in advance, I can have that which I am allergic to.
