    Hi Mike – they are an amazing array of brightness … we call them Rudbeckia – even though I see they’re not found in the UK – despite Linnaeus naming them. But we have similar types under the Aster bracket ..

      I’m not sure why, but they haven’t seemed to bloom so well in recent years. We did have a pretty bad drought a few years back, but I would have thought they would have recovered.

      It’s been cold lately, but we’re going it a few days of spring-like temperatures and clear skies.
